Day 26 Thaw 12x12 on reg. stretched canvas. The temperature came up 15 degrees today. Everything is melting......it's like being in a scene from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Edmond is riding along with the White Witch in the sledge and all of a sudden they come to a grinding halt on the rocks. Aslan had returned! This palette is not what I had in mind but the purples, blues and golds compliment.
Isn't it fun watching the landscape change every day, with all this snow? I marvel at your use of purples and blues to show the reflections. I'm not a landscaper painter and as such, am amazed at how many colors are in white snow!
